After immersing in Riyadh's cultural tapestry, your journey takes flight to the enchanting AlUla. Nestled within the captivating Ashar Valley, the renowned Maraya, a mirror-clad architectural marvel, reflected the desert's beauty. Exploring the ancient rock-cut tombs of HEGRA and the archaeological wonders of Salih and Madain, the expedition unveiled the region's historical significance.

Venturing into the captivating landscape of Harrat Uwayrid, the volcanic terrain provided a surreal backdrop. The expedition continued towards Jabal Ikmah, where the legendary Elephant Rock stood majestically, a testament to nature's artistry.

Proceeding to the holy city of Medina, the atmosphere transformed into a spiritual sanctuary. Experiencing the sacred Jabal Uhod, the echoes of history resonated through the air, connecting visitors to the profound significance of the location.

The final leg of the journey led to the coastal city of Jeddah. Exploring the cityscape, the Corniche, and the King Fahd Fountain, the maritime charm unfolded. Immersing in the historical district of Al-Balad, the journey offered a glimpse into Jeddah's rich cultural heritage.

As the eight-day odyssey unfolded, each destination revealed a unique facet of Saudi Arabia's diverse landscapes, historical treasures, and cultural depth, leaving indelible memories etched in the sands of time.

Day 1

Riyadh

Arrive at King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh and transfer to your hotel for overnight.

Meals: None

Accommodation: Centro Waha Hotel Riyadh or similar

Day 2

Riyadh

After breakfast this morning, meet your driver/guide in the hotel’s lobby area. Visit Masmak fortress (Third Saudi State) and drop by the Zal Traditional Flee market. Have lunch. Move towards the Al Murabaa area to check the Murabaa Palace and then visit the National Museum for detailed information about the Arabian Peninsula.

Visit the Al Diriyah area, considered to be the birthplace of the nation, Diriyah is the ancestral seat of the Al Saud dynasty and home to the UNESCO World Heritage Site; also check the Turaif area and the Bujairi Heritage Park.

Head to the Olaya area and Stop at the Kingdom Tower, the tallest building in Riyadh and enjoy the view from the sky bridge which commands a remarkable view of Riyadh city; then visit the Al Faisaliah Tower and a walking tour at the Tahlia street. Return to your hotel.

Day 3

Riyadh AlUla

Meet after breakfast at the hotel’s lobby area and transfer to Riyadh airport. Departure flight to AlUla.

Arrival to AlUla. Visit the Maraya building from the outside for a memorable photo. Meaning ‘mirror’ or ‘reflection’ in Arabic, Maraya is a stunning piece of art set in the desert canyon of Ashar Valley. Designed to blend into the surrounding landscape, it rises from the sand like a mirage. The state-of-the-art structure is covered in 9,740 mirrored panels reflecting AlUla's beauty and, according to Guinness World Records, making it the largest mirrored building in the world.

Experience STARGAZING (light traditional grill dinner alfresco included). Get ready to be wowed by the universe. Escape to the remote area of Gharameel, get cozy and lay back as you gaze upon a sky full of stars.

Day 4

AlUla

Meeting after breakfast at the hotel’s lobby area. Start heading to Winter Park. Visit HEGRA (First UNESCO World Heritage Site). Cities of Salih or Madain Salih; A majority of the remains date from the Nabataean Kingdom (1st century AD).

Visit Al Jadidah Area. The Al Jadidah Arts District is a vibrant cultural hub of shops, cafes and public artworks in AlUla Old Town Village.

Head to Old Town Market. Walk along Old Town Market Street and follow in the millennia-old footsteps of the merchants who once traversed this ancient trade route. A historic marketplace still thrives here today, where you can browse everything from local handicrafts to elegant antiques, shop for souvenirs or just enjoy a freshly squeezed juice and a pleasant stroll.

Visit Old Town Tour. Get a glimpse into AlUla’s not-so-distant past on the AlUla Old Town Tour.

Move towards HARRAT UWAYRID (Outlook View). Harrat Viewpoint is an outdoor seating area and outlook at the top of Harrat Uwayrid.

Return to your hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 5

AlUla

Meet after breakfast in the hotel lobby and head towards Winter Park. Start your visit towards JABAL IKMAH/DADAN. Start your journey through time at Dadan the ancient Kingdom of the Lihyanite and Dadanite Civilizations.

Visit the Elephant Rock (Sunset Iconic View). Set among dramatic desert landscapes and soaring 52 meters into the sky, Elephant Rock is AlUla’s most iconic geological marvel. The instantly recognizable form, with its distinctive trunk and body, was shaped wind and water erosion over the course of millions of years.

Day 6

AlUla Medina

Meet after breakfast at the hotel lobby area and check out. Start heading to Medina by car (330 km).

Arrival in Medina. Start heading to visit Jabal Uhod/ Archer’s Hill. It was the site of the Battle of Uhud, the second military encounter between the Muslims and Meccan forces.

Free Style Lunch (not included)

Visit Hijaz Rail Way Station/ Ottoman Station. The Hejaz Railway was a narrow-gauge railway that ran from Damascus to Medina, through the Hejaz region of modern-day Saudi Arabia.

Visit the Dar El Medina Museum. The museum focuses on the history of al-Madinah City, in particular, The Hijrah Road and the Hijrah-related historical incidents.

Visit the Old Bazaar and a tour of the local restaurants and shops and enjoy the Medina Vibes.

Return to your hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 7

Medina Jeddah

Meet after breakfast at the hotel lobby area and check out. Head to the Haramain train station. Departure to Jeddah (ticket not included in the price)

Visit the Floating Mosque (Al Rahma Mosque) – From the Outside - situated on the Jeddah waterfront built on a water surface, it is known for its spectacular turquoise dome and famous for its beautiful architecture and scenic location.

Visit the king Fahad Fountain, Located on the Jeddah Waterfront listed in Guinness World Records as the highest water fountain in the world.

Walking tour on the beautiful Jeddah Corniche/ Water Front. The corniche features a coastal road, recreation areas, pavilions and large-scale civic sculptures.

Day 8

Jeddah

Meet after breakfast at the hotel’s lobby and check out.

Move to Jeddah Historical City – AlBalad (UNESCO World Heritage Site).

Al-Balad received its World Heritage Site status for its unique architecture of tower houses with wooden features, built in the late 19th century by the city's wealthy merchants.

Cultural walking Tour around Jeddah Historical City. Stroll down Al Balad’s (Town) narrow streets and discover the city’s past through the neighborhood’s well-preserved architecture.

From here you will head to Jeddah Airport for your return flight home or onward journey.
